Vergangenes Wochenende hat es Josina Papenfuß bei den Norddeutschen Meisterschaften in Berlin zwei Mal richtig krachen lassen. Bei den Titelkämpfen mit den Besten aus Niedersachsen, Bremen, Hamburg, Schleswig-Holstein, Brandenburg und Berlin startete sie sowohl über 3000 Meter, als auch über die 1500 Meter.
Der erste Lauf am Samstag über 3000 Meter war ein klassischer Meisterschaftslauf: Ein bummeliges Tempo von von 3:42 Minuten für den ersten und 3:29 für den zweiten Kilometer zeugen davon. Dann aber ging die Post ab, und auf den letzten zwei Runden wechselte die Führung zwischen Josina und Paulina Kayßer immer wieder. Spannung bis zum Schluss für die Zuschauer bei diesem Rennen, das Josina als Zweite beendete. Trotz des langsamen Anfangstempos konnte Josina mit 10:24,22 Minuten eine neute persönliche Bestzeit verbuchen und zeigte eine starke Leistung, die uns für die Deutschen Meisterschaften glücklich stimmt.
Am Sonntag stand dann der Lauf über 1500 Meter an, ihr erster über diese Streckenlänge. Auch hier gab es eher ein 800 Meter Rennen mit 700 Metern Anlauf, in dem Josina nur der ein Jahr älteren Ann-Christin Optiz den Vortritt lassen musste. Mit 4:48,60 Minuten konnte sie dabei eine fabelhafte Bestzeit aufstellen, die für Josina bereits die zweite DM Norm in diesem Jahr bedeutet! Mit zwei Vizetiteln auf norddeutscher Ebene war dieses Wochenende einen vollen Erfolg auf dem Weg zu den DM.
Wir freuen uns über diese fabelhaften Ergebnisse und bereiten jetzt den Start bei den Deutschen Meisterschaften am 29. Juli in Mönchengladbach vor!
