Sieben Leichtathleten der TSG Westerstede kämpften gestern beim 1. Abendsportfest im Marschwegstadion in Oldenburg um Bestleistungen. Gleich zu Beginn starteten Andreas Willms, Corinna Petznik, Josina Papenfuß und Martin Krisch über den Kurzsprint 100 Meter.
Andreas kam gut in den Wettkampf und gewann seinen Vorlauf in neuer persönlicher Bestzeit von 12,68 Sekunden bei +0,6 m/s Rückenwind. Corinna Petznik und Martin Krisch waren insgesamt nicht zufrieden, beide blieben in dieser Disziplin unter ihren Möglichkeiten. Josina Papenfuß – sonst auf der Langstrecke zu Hause – kam nach einem eher schwachen Start in 15,23 s bei spürbaren 1,2 m Gegenwind ins Ziel.
Im Anschluss wechselte Andreas zum Weitsprung und konnte dort ebenfalls seine persönliche Bestleistung nach oben schrauben: 5,66 Meter bedeuteten gleichzeitig auch den Tagessieg in seiner Altersklasse. Patrick Baumeyer stieg gleichzeitig ins Kugelstoßen ein. In der neuen Altersklasse U20 fremdelt er zwar noch ein wenig mit der 6kg Kugel, aber er bestätigte mit 6,75 Meter seine Leistung von den Kreismeisterschaften.
Nils Papenfuß startete darauf über 200 Meter, sein erster Sprint über die längere Strecke. Mit 26,10 Sekunden und spürbarem Gegenwind von 1,2 Meter stellte er eine gute Bestzeit auf.
Josina bereitete sich in der Zwischenzeit auf ihren „richtigen“ Einsatz vor: Den 1000 Meter Lauf der Frauen und weiblichen Jugend. Als Unterdistanzlauf sollte dieser für die kommenden Deutschen Meisterschaften ins Training eingebunden werden. Nach dem Startschuss lieferte sie sich in hohem Tempo einen Zweikampf mit Lokalmatadorin Michelle Kipp und konnte in der Schlusskurve etwa 200 Meter vor dem Ziel mit ein paar schnellen Schritten vorbeiziehen und den Lauf in 3:04,31 Minuten gewinnen.
Den Abschluss des Tages bildeten die 3000 Meter Läufe, hier gingen Dennis Lenzdorf, Andreas Willms und Martin Krisch an den Start. Als erster TSG Athlet überquerte Martin nach 11:33,66 Minuten die Ziellinie. Dicht dahinter folgte ihm Dennis und schließlich Andreas, der seinen guten Wettkampftag abrundete und ebenfalls unter 12 Minuten blieb.
