Zum Ende der Ferien fand das traditionelle Stelldichein der Leichtathletik-Szene des Oldenburger Raums im Marschwegstadion statt. Mit dabei waren auch 6 Athleten und zwei Betreuer der TSG Westerstede, die an den Wettbewerben über 100 Meter und 800 Meter teilnehmen wollten.
Zu Beginn lief Bennet Petznik über 100 Meter in der U16 mit 15,39 Sekunden eine persönliche Bestleistung; seiner Schwester Corinna Petznik gelang es trotz eines vorherigen Fehlstarts einer Konkurrentin und einem Stolperer im zweiten Versuch mit 13,90 Sekunden eine gute Zeit aufzustellen.
Hannah Gäfeke erreichte ebenfalls im 100 Meter Sprint mit 15,34 Sekunden eine gute Zeit und auch Heiner Lüers hatte einen guten Tag und erreichte nach 13,21 Sekunden die Ziellinie.

Heiner war auch in der StG Weser-Ems bei den folgenden 4 x 100 Meter Staffeln dabei und führte diese als Schlussläufer zu einem deutlichen Sieg in 49,08 Sekunden.
Zum Abschluss gingen Nils Papenfuß und Andreas Willms über 800 Meter an den Start. Andreas feierte sein Debüt auf dieser Strecke und lief nach einem langen, kontiniuerlichem Steigerungslauf in 2:30,81 Minuten ins Ziel. Im Endspurt konnte er noch einige Plätze gut machen, sodass eine Steigerung dieser Bestzeit in kommenden Rennen noch zu erwarten ist.
Nils Papenfuß im 800 Meter Lauf
Nils war im schnellsten Zeitlauf eingeteilt und wollte die Chance nutzen, um seine Bestzeit zumindest anzugreifen. Allerdings ging die Konkurrenz nach dem Start in ein Bummel-Tempo über, sodass er nach 300 Metern selbst die Spitze übernehmen musste und von vorne weg ein hohes Tempo alleine gehen musste. Damit war die Bestzeit außer Reichweite geraten, aber die Konkurrenz konnte nicht mehr folgen und so lief Nils einem ungefährdeten Sieg in 2:09,85 Minuten entgegen.
