Bei strahlendem Sonnenschein und eiskaltem Wind trafen sich über 150 Leichtathleten am gestrigen Samstag im Rasteder Schlosspark. Mit dabei waren nach einigen krankheitsbedingten Absagen 16 Athleten der TSG Westerstede.

Im ersten Lauf gab es dann auch die größten Erfolge zu verzeichnen. Beim Mittelstreckenlauf der Erwachsenen und U20 / U18 gelang es Nils Papenfuß in hervorragenden 16:32 Minuten einen Vorsprung von über einer halben Minute herauszulaufen und wurde damit Kreismeister der U18. Martin Krisch lief in der Wertung der Männer auf den dritten Platz, dicht gefolgt von Dennis Lenzdorf auf dem vierten Platz; zusammen mit Andreas Willms (Platz 10) gewannen sie auch den Mannschaftstitel.

Während Corinna Petznik einen dritten Platz in der WU20 holte, verpasste Neele Ulken knapp einen Podestplatz und kam in der WU18 auf den vierten Platz. Greta Liesenhoff holte in derselben Altersklasse den 7. Platz.

Im zweiten Lauf mit den jüngsten Teilnehmern (U10) war die TSG mit zwei Athleten vertreten, die sich in dem großen Feld sehr gut behaupteten: Martha-Hilke Schaffarzik schaffte es auf den zweiten Platz in der AK W09, während Florian Neidhardt den dritten Platz in der AK M09 erlief.

Im Lauf der U12 lief Alexej Semenov auf den sechsten Platz der M11, Marlene Hullen auf den fünften Platz in der W11 und Marit Kell auf den achten Platz in der Wertung der W10.

Im abschließenden Lauf starteten die Athleten der U14 und U16 zusammen über die 2700 Meter lange Rundstrecke und die TSGer sicherten sich hier auch einige gute Plätze: Justin Bauer holte in einem couragierten Lauf einen sehr guten zweiten Platz in der M15 und Bennet Petznik reihte sich einen Platz dahinter ein. Hannah Gäfeke lief in der W15 auf den zweiten Platz, während in der Altersklasse der M13 Nikolaij Berkenbrink den Schlusspunkt setzte und es auf den ersten Platz schaffte!

Insgesamt konnte die TSG Westerstede drei erste Plätze holen, leider mussten wir in der Mannschaftswertung im Vergleich zum letzten Jahr deutlich Federn lassen. Waren im letzten Jahr noch so viele Westersteder dabei, dass wir 5 Mannschaften melden konnten, von denen 4 auch den Titel gewinnen konnten, so ging in diesem Jahr nur eine einzige Mannschaft an den Start. Wir hoffen, dass wir im nächsten Jahr mit mehr Teilnehmern auch wieder mehr Mannschaften stellen können!
