Beim diesjährigen 28. Gristeder Volkslauf schnürten 13 TSG Athleten die Laufschuhe über alle Klassen hinweg. Bei bestem Laufwetter, nicht zu warm und wenig Wind, konnten die Westersteder insgesamt sehr gute Ergebnisse erzielen.
Die jüngsten Läufer, Lasse Pistoor (6:35 Minuten) und Felix Yang Wilksen (7:24 Minuten) konnten bereits zu Beginn beim Schülerlauf über 1500 Meter gute Ergebnisse erreichen. Ben-Lucas Wilksen (3:44 Minuten) hat als jüngster Teilnehmer beim 500 Meter Kinderlauf seine ersten Wettkampferfahrungen gesammelt.
Die meisten TSG Athleten starteten über die 5 Kilometer-Strecke. Als Top-Favoritin bei den Frauen ging Josina Papenfuß ins Rennen, die den Lauf als Vorbereitung für die kommenden Landesmeisterschaften nutzte. Mit 17:53 Minuten gelang ihr ein toller Lauf, und als Sahnehäubchen verbesserte sie den Streckenrekord der Frauen um fast eine halbe Minute!
Der nächste TSG Athlet im Ziel war Dennis Lenzdorf (20:21 Minuten, 2. Platz M35), dicht gefolgt von Martin Krisch (20:23 Minuten). Andreas Willms wurde mit 22:06 Minuten dritter der M30. Nach genau 25:00 Minuten kam Bennet Petznik ins Ziel, gefolgt von Corinna Petznik (26:02 Minuten), die 6. der weiblichen Hauptklasse wurde.
Der dienstälteste Läufer, Eduard Willms, kam nach 32:37 Minuten ins Ziel und holte den Sieg in der Altersklasse M75.
Auch in der Wertung der Walking-Gruppe war die TSG Westerstede vertreten: Luca Krisch (44:43 Minuten) und Diana Krisch (46:14 Minuten) hielten die TSG Farben hoch und konnten ihre persönlichen Bestleistungen jeweils um eine Minute steigern.
Als einer der jüngsten Läufer und einziger TSG Athlet startete Darian Beinke schließlich über 10 Kilometer und holte bei seiner ersten Teilnahme in 56:21 Minuten den ersten Platz in seiner Altersklasse.
Insgesamt können wir mit den Ergebnissen des Tages sehr zufrieden sein und freuen uns schon auf die nächsten Wettkämpfe!
