Diesen Samstag traf sich die Laufszene des NLV Kreises Ammerland-Friesland im Rasteder Schlosspark, um die ersten Kreismeisterschaften im Jahr 2014 auszutragen. Bei trockenem Wetter ging es auch für 23 Athleten der TSG Westerstede über die schöne und gut zu laufende Strecke im Park.
Den Anfang machten pünktlich um 14 Uhr die Altersklassen U18, U20 und die Hauptklassen mit dem ersten Meisterschaftslauf über 4400m. Kurz nach dem Start setzten sich Nils Papenfuß und Martin Krisch an die Spitze des Feldes und konnten zu zweit von vorneweg das Rennen gestalten. Kontinuierlich vergrößerten sie den Vorsprung auf die Verfolgergruppe und liefen entspannt nebeneinander in die zweite Runde, in der sie das Tempo sogar noch steigerten. Zum Schluss ging es für die beiden nur noch um den Gesamtsieg, den sich Martin Krisch mit einem schnellen Antritt am letzten Hügel vor dem Ziel sicherte. Nils kam mit 16:56min nur 6 Sekunden nach ihm und als Erster der Altersklasse MJU18 ins Ziel. Doppelsieg mit über 40 Sekunden Vorsprung für die TSG Westerstede!
Doch das war noch nicht alles: Dennis Lenzdorf hatte sich in der Verfolgergruppe aufgehalten und konnte am Ende den 4. Platz herauslaufen. Damit waren drei Athleten der TSG Westerstede unter den Top 4 zu finden! Mit Andreas Willms und Francesco Ini (Platz 7, bzw. 9 in der männlichen Hauptklasse) sind insgesamt 5 Westersteder unter 20 Minuten geblieben und haben damit ein starkes Ergebnis erzielt!
Während also der eine „Nils“ die Jugendklasse MJU18 gewinnt, konnte der andere „Niels“-Thorben Tax den dritten Platz in dieser Klasse erreichen, ebenso wie seine Schwester Marleen Tax, die in der AK WJU20 den dritten Platz erreichte. Und unsere beiden Neuzugänge Jelena Lüers und Theresa Hupens konnten sich gut behaupten und erreichten Platz 5 und Platz 6 in der Altersklasse der WJU18!
Damit war der erste Lauf vorbei, nun standen die 1300m der U10 an. Mit dabei waren 5 junge TSG Athleten, die sich sehr teuer verkauft haben. Ganz vorne mit dabei war Martha Hilke Schaffarzik, die mit 6:11min die Meisterschaft in der Altersklasse W08 für sich entscheiden konnte. Kurz darauf kam schon Lana Zimmermann ins Ziel und erreichte den 4. Platz in der AK W09, vor Merle-Sophie Tax (8.) und Pauline Kulow (10.). Und unser Jüngster – Malte Frerichs – lief in der Altersklasse M06 bei seiner ersten Crosslauf-Teilnahme gleich auf den 3. Platz!
Im darauf folgenden Lauf der U12, auch über 1300m , startete Lea Müller das erste Mal bei einem Crosslauf. Sie konnte sich in der Altersklasse W10 über den 4. Platz freuen und musste sich der Drittplatzierten nur um eine Sekunde geschlagen geben.
Der letzte Meisterschaftslauf des Tages gehörte der U16. Mit dabei auf der 2600m langen Strecke waren 7 Athleten der TSG, unter anderem Josina Papenfuß, die vor ein paar Wochen auf den Landesmeisterschaften über 2000m ganz weit nach vorne gelaufen war. Auch mit dabei war Nicolas Springub, Kreismeister im Crosslauf 2013 und somit Titelverteidiger – wir waren gespannt, wie die beiden sich schlagen würden.
Nach dem Startschuss ging das Feld die Strecke recht schnell an, doch Josina ließ sich nicht beirren und lief in ihrem Tempo den Führenden hinterher. Nach 300m hatte sie dann auch schon fast alle wieder eingesammelt und verfolgte nun an zweiter Position in lockerem Rhythmus den Ersten. Auf der zweiten Runde zogen beide nochmal an und überholten sich gegenseitig, bis sie schließlich im Schlussprint gleichauf ins Stadion einbogen. Auf der Außenbahn gelang es dann Josina zwar nicht mehr an ihrem Konkurrenten vorbeizuziehen, doch mit über einer Minute Vorsprung lief sie auf den zweiten Platz und holte den Kreismeistertitel der W14 in der Wahnsinns-Zeit von 9:34min!
Und damit nicht genug: An vierter Stelle kam Justin Bauer angelaufen, der in 10:57min den zweiten Platz der M14 erlief und eine weitere gute Platzierung beisteuerte, direkt gefolgt vom Titelverteidiger Nicolas, dem es gelang seine Konkurrenz der M15 auf die Plätze zu verweisen und den fünften Titel des Tages für die TSG zu sichern!
Mit Bennet Petznik (4. Platz M14), Greta Liesenhoff (4. Platz W15) und Hannah Gäfeke (3. Platz W14) kamen weitere TSG Athleten auf vorderen Plätzen in ihren Altersklassen ins Ziel.
Den letzten Titel des Tages holte jedoch Nikolaij Berkenbrink der in der Altersklasse der M12 mit 14:10min erfolgreich war. Damit hat die TSG Westerstede insgesamt 6 Titel, einen zweiten Platz und 6 dritte Plätze errungen – diese Erfolge stimmten den mitgereisten Anhang und die Trainer Jana Lenz und Martin Krisch sehr zufrieden und machen Lust auf die kommende Freiluftsaison!
